Groundhogs was established by Kimberly & Ken Kelsch in 2007. What started out as a landscaping / excavation company and have quickly grown and expanded to encompass construction and snow maintenance also.
Ken Kelsch is our Director of Operations, he has been a resident of Fairbanks for over 30 years and understands our unique needs for cold climate building.

Ultimately, our goal is to provide high-quality services that are appropriate to their settings AND extremely functional. Over the years, we have completed over 200 projects in the Fairbanks North Star Borough, many of which have been major renovations.

Light & Airy Egress Window Wells for full basements. Made from polyethylene resin, and filled with rigid setting, closed cell polyurthane foam for added strength and rigidity. Never needs painting, pest resistant, and provides spaces for plants or decorative rock.
